Space Alert Setup Guide

Setup Steps

1. Ship Board: Place the ship board in the center of the table.
2. Trajectory Board: Place the trajectory board next to the ship board.
3. Energy Setup: Place energy tokens on each zone's reactor: 2 energy in each side zone (Red and Blue), 3 energy in the central zone (White).
4. Rockets: Place the 3 rocket tokens on the rocket supply area of the ship board.
5. Player Cards: Each player takes a set of action cards and a player figure.
6. Starting Position: Place all player figures in the upper White (center) station.
7. Shuffle Threats: Shuffle the external threat deck (common and serious separately) and internal threat deck (common and serious separately).
8. Select Mission: Prepare the mission by selecting a mission card or soundtrack track to determine the difficulty and threat distribution.
9. Deal Hands: Deal each player 5 action cards from their personal deck. Keep 2 remaining cards aside as delayed actions. (4-5 players)
10. Deal Hands: Deal each player their full hand of action cards. The android (dummy player) acts automatically following its programmed instructions. (1-3 players)
11. Captain: Randomly determine the Captain (first player).
