Setup Steps

1. Place board: Place the main game board in the center of the table.
2. Fill depots: Sort all 6-sided tiles by color and place them face-down in supply piles. Randomly draw tiles and place them face-up on the matching-color numbered depot spaces on the board.
3. Place goods: Sort goods tiles by phase letter (A-E) on the back. Place the 5 goods tiles for Phase A face-up on the 5 goods spaces on the board.
4. Bonus tiles: Place bonus tiles (large and small) for each color near the board.
5. Player setup: Each player takes a player board, a matching pair of colored dice, 1 starting castle tile (placed on the dark green space marked with a star), 1 Silverling, and 3 worker tiles.
6. Turn order: Place player markers on the turn order track. Determine a random start player.
