Scoring Categories

• Region Control (Both Sides): 1 VP per controlled NPT/SPT region for each side.
• Railroad Completion (U.S.): 3 VP for joining the two Railroads before any player runs out of cards.
• Railroad Prevention (Indian): 3 VP for stopping the joining of the two Railroads at the time any player runs out of cards.
• Wagon Trains (U.S.): 1 VP for each Wagon cube that reaches the Rockies or remains in a Plains region at end of game.
• Wagon Destruction (Indian): 1 VP for the elimination of each Wagon cube.
• Purple Region Control (Indian): 1 VP per controlled Purple region, but only if the NPT player controls at least 3 northern Purple regions and/or the SPT player controls at least 3 southern Purple regions. Control of fewer than 3 in either area yields no points.
• Purple Region Penalty (Indian): -3 VP if the U.S. player controls more Purple regions than the Indian player.
• Purple Regions (U.S.): Purple regions yield no points for the U.S. player.
