Agricola Gameplay Overview

The game consists of 14 rounds divided into six stages. Each round follows four phases in order: Start the Round, Replenish Action Spaces, Work Phase, and Return Home. A Harvest occurs at the end of rounds 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 14.
Actions
- Phase 1: Start the Round — Draw the top Round card and reveal the new Action space it introduces for this round.
- Phase 2: Replenish Action Spaces — Add goods and animals to all accumulating Action spaces before workers are placed.
- Phase 3: Work Phase — In turn order, each player places one Family member at a time on an unoccupied Action space and immediately takes that action. This continues until all players have placed all their Family members.
- Phase 4: Return Home — All Family members are removed from Action spaces and returned to their farmyard rooms.
- Harvest — A Harvest occurs at the end of rounds 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 14. It proceeds in three phases in order: Field phase, Feeding, and Breeding.
